Under the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Conservation Reserve Program, which pays farmers to remove environmentally sensitive land from production and plant beneficial species on it, Paul and Becky Rogers converted 14 acres of their land in Kent County, Michigan to pollinator habitat.
